It was also recommended that Fisher avoid Soy until after six months so he didn't become allergic to that too. Fisher is 10 months old now and loves Soy Vanilla milk. There are a couple of formula's that have are for children with Milk allergies besides Soy. They're more expensive but worth every penny for your child's well being and happiness. I breastfeed until Fisher was six months old but gave up the fight once the extent of his allergies were clear. When you breastfeed and your child has an allergy, you also must avoid those products. I was lucky enough to have this information sooner than later.

Allergies

My son Fisher currently has the following allergies... Dairy, Egg, Peanut, Beef, Oat, Feather, Lanolin, Formaldehyde, Polyethylene Glycol. I've found so much info on the Internet, but it's been time consuming and daunting finding accurate and truly useful information over time. So, from this point forward I will be providing the info I've found useful all in one spot, Mommy Truths... Please feel free to leave comments of anything you can contribute. Being a parent of a child with allergies can be difficult, but having support and accurate information can help.
