Here is a list I was provided by Fisher's Allergist.... These items should be avoided if your child has a MILK allergy.....

1. Artificial butter flavor
2. Butter, butter fat, buttermilk
3. Casein
4. Caseinates
5. Cheese
6. Curds
7. Custard
8. Hydrolysates(casein, milk, protein, whey)
9. Lactalbumin
10. Lactoglobin
11. Milk(derivative, protein, solids, malted, condensed, evaporated, dry, whole, low-fat, non-fat, skim)
12. Nougat
13. Pudding
14. Sour milk
15. Sour cream
16. Whey
17. Yogurt
18. Ghee
19. Half and Half
20. Rennet Casein
21. Ingredients that MAY indicate the presence of milk protein:
a) Brown sugar flavoring
b) Caramel
c) Chocolate
d) High protein flour
e) Margarine
f) Natural flavoring
g) Simplesse

It was also recommended that Fisher avoid Soy until after six months so he didn't become allergic to that too. Fisher is 10 months old now and loves Soy Vanilla milk. There are a couple of formula's that have are for children with Milk allergies besides Soy. They're more expensive but worth every penny for your child's well being and happiness. I breastfeed until Fisher was six months old but gave up the fight once the extent of his allergies were clear. When you breastfeed and your child has an allergy, you also must avoid those products. I was lucky enough to have this information sooner than later.
