Mother Warrior Continued....

Well we've been seeing the BIOSET Practitioner now for months. So far we've gained back the ability to eat Strawberries, Oat, Peaches, Mangos, and most importantly Eggs. We learned of a few we weren't even aware of but those have been cleared too. I can't really comprehend how this really works because it seems so simple, it's hard to believe that it could work, but it does. It's something to do with the electromagnetic field, in combination with acupuncture and 15 mins later your out the door. When I started this I said if there was even the smallest improvement it would be worth it. Next on the list, nuts and MILK.

I would recommend BIOSET to anyone that has an imbalance of any kind. Anywhere from minimal outdoor allergies, immune deficiencies, to life threatening anaphylaxis, or even hormone imbalance. I'm reading a book about it now called Live Free from Asthma and Allergies by Ellen W. Cutler. It explains how all this works.

Dairy free Hot Chocolate

We've found the yummiest hot chocolate and even though it's Dark Chocolate, my kids still love it. Mix it with Coconut Milk instead of regular milk and you've got yourself dairy free hot chocolate. Delicious!

Vegan, Gluten Free Caramel Sauce

I've been dying for my FA son to try caramel and now he can. Caramel Apples here we come!

3/4 cup coconut milk, divided
2 tbsps kuzu root starch (or cornstarch)
1/2 cup coconut oil
2 cups packed light brown sugar

In a small bowl, combine 1/4 cup coconut milk with kuzu root. Stir until kuzu root (or cornstarch) is dissolved.

In a small saucepan, melt coconut oil over medium heat. Add brown sugar; stir to combine. Add remaining coconut milk and bring to a boil. Boil 3-4 minutes.

Remove from heat and stir in kuzu root mixture.

Caramel sauce is pretty thin when it's warm, but will thicken up when cooled.

The Dirty Dozen- The top 12 foods you should buy organic...

I've always bought fruits and vegetables just as they come without thinking much about it....until recently. Now I've become more aware of how harmful pesticides and fertilizers can be on our immune systems, especially for our little people. We can't afford to buy EVERYTHING organic, but there's a list out there called "The Dirty Dozen". The list gives you the top 12 fruits and vegetables that are so high in pesticides and fertilizers they suggest you buy them organic. For the sake of future generations, I hope we see more support for our organic farmers. Why isn't everything grown organic? Our children are the CANARIES IN THE COAL MINE. With the 5 A's (Autism, Aspergers, Allergies, Asthma, and ADHD) on the rise, we can't afford NOT to eliminate chemicals from our environment as much as possible. Our children are the first to show signs of distress, lets listen to what they have to say.

Mother Warrior

After reading Jenny McCarthy's book called Mother Warriors, I've realized I'm not going to sit around and wait to see what happens anymore. I've been told my son will probably outgrow it. Just give him Benadryl and even worse, The EPI PEN if you have to. Well, I'm thankful to have those tools in my tool box, but I want to take an active roll in his healing. Not the sit back on egg shells and wait to see what happens method.

Now that I'm awake to this, the first thing I've came across is BioMedical healing. This address' vitamin deficiencies, toxin overload, immune deficiencies and yeast overgrowth. I believe Fisher's immune system and gut are fighting against him. I just started Fisher on a potent, hypoallergenic Multi Vitamin and a Probiotic that I found at Kirkman Labs. I suggest reading their "Beginner's Guide to BioMedical and Dietary Intervention. It's free and it helped me see the big picture. Also, I think everyone can benefit from Probiotics and I'm learning how sick and common yeast overloads are.

Next on the list, is muscle testing. I've recently heard of a couple success stories that have me convinced this is our next step. Basically, It sounds like realignment of the immune system. We see the specialist next month. Of course, this isn't covered by the insurance, but if 12-15 visits later, my son has ANY improvement at all, it will be worth it.

I believe the body can heal itself if given the tools. Here you go body, take what you need and run with it.

I reach out to parents that are on this trip with me.

Warm thoughts and hope today and for our future.
